Zachary Jones

Zachary Russell Jones, 33, of Westernport MD, passed away on November 5, 2019 at his home. Born on April 3, 1986 in Cumberland MD, he is the son of Frederick and Dora Jones.

He is preceded in death by maternal grandparents Hink and Dora Westfall and paternal grandfather Bill (PJ) Jones, aunt Sue Westfall and uncles Carder Jones, Bruce Robertson.

He is a 2004 graduate of Westmar High School. People who know Zach remember him as Z-Man, he had an artistic ability for tattooing and was loved for his knowledge and his joking character and kindness. He was also a member of the Redman Club, Black Hawk Tribe Post #133. Z-man’s favorite saying was “It is what it is”.

Zach is survived by his parents Frederick and Dora (Westfall) Jones from Westernport MD, his grandma Betty Lou (Carter) Jones from Bunker Hill WV, and aunts Rhonda Robertson from Lonaconing MD, Cheryl Sonner from Bunker Hill WV, And also his dogs West and Virginia.

When you see the colors of the clouds in the sky, say hi to Z-Man, He’s always nearby.

A Memorial Service will be held on November 23, 2019 11am-1pm. Service at 1pm with Rev. Howard "Buck" Barrick officiating. Inurnment will be  private at a later date.
