Robert Laughlin

Robert M. Laughlin 80 of Accident and formerly of Westernport, MD died at WMHS in Cumberland on April 18, 2019. He was born at Cumberland on Feb. 19, 1939.  He was the son of the late Charles J. Laughlin and Mildred (Lewis) Laughlin.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Laughlin and his brother, Charles L. Laughlin.

Robert was a 1957 graduate of Saint Peter’s School and former member of Saint Peter Church in Westernport. He served in the US Army.  He was former Manager of Condo’s in Fort Lauderdale, FL and worked around Deep Creek Lake for many years.

He is survived by his sister, Marian L. Grady of Jacksonville, FL and sister-in-law Deann Laughlin of Jacksonville. He is also survived by four nieces and one nephew and five step-children.

In accordance with Robert’s wishes he is being cremated and a graveside service and celebration of his life will take place later this year at Saint Peter’s Cemetery in Westernport.

The Fredlock Funeral Home in Piedmont, WV is assisting the family with arrangements.
