Frances Kalbaugh

Frances A. Kalbaugh, 86, formerly of Maryland AV, Westernport, MD died at Egle Nursing Home in Lonaconing, MD, on Friday, Feb. 2, 2018. She was born in Aliquippi, PA on July 4, 1931 and was daughter of the late William Grimes and Angela (Robertson) Grimes. She was also preceded in death by Ignatius and Anna Mae Dorsey, of Midland, MD, who raised her; and her husband Harry D. Kalbaugh, who died on Feb. 4, 2007

Frances was an active member of Saint Peter Catholic Church in Westernport, MD. She taught CCD classes for many years and was a former member of the CDof A, Council # 485. She was a 1950 graduate of Catholic Girls Central in Cumberland. She was dedicated to her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her son; Harry D. Kalbaugh Jr and wife Kim of Cumberland, MD; and two daughters, Karen Morris and husband Rick of Fallston, MD and Shelia Shapiro and husband Allen of Westernport, MD. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

Family and friends will be received at the Fredlock Funeral Home in Piedmont, WV on Monday, Feb. 5, 2018 from 6 until 8 P.M.  Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Divine Mercy / St. Peter Catholic Church on Tuesday at 11A.M with Father Ed Hendricks as celebrant. Interment will follow at Philos Cemetery in Westernport, MD

The family greatly appreciated the care rendered to their Mother by the Staff of Egle Nursing Home for the past four years.
